Basic Connections
- Power: Connect AC power using the supplied IEC cable. Ensure voltage matches the fixture rating. Use proper fusing and cable gauge for safety.
- Grounding: Always connect the earth ground to prevent interference and ensure safety.
DMX Setup
- DMX Input/Output: Use standard 3-pin or 5-pin XLR cables as required. Connect DMX controller OUT to LW1000 DMX IN.
- Addressing: Set the DMX start address via the on-board menu or digital display. The LW1000 supports single-fixture control or multi-fixture addressing for pixel mapping.
- Termination: If the LW1000 is the last fixture on the DMX chain, attach a DMX terminator to the DMX OUT port.
Wiring Tips
- Use DMX-grade cables and keep power and DMX lines separate where possible.
- Avoid daisy-chaining too many fixtures without repeaters.
- Follow local electrical codes for outdoor installations.
