The Vibe: An Urban Oasis

Located in Taiyuan, Shanxi, the "Wild Moon" (Ye Si Yue Qiu) Bar serves as a hidden gem in the heart of the bustling city. Designed as an "Urban Oasis," it is a place where nightlife enthusiasts gather to "Go Wild and Get High."
The venue is all about atmosphere, music, and live experiences, where light and melody seamlessly blend. This creates an environment where guests can freely dance, and the music and drinks weave their stories. To bring this vision to life, the lighting design had to be extraordinary.

The Solution: One-Stop Lighting Design

LQE was selected to provide the complete lighting solution for this project, covering both Indoor Club Lighting and Outdoor Architectural Lighting.
Our goal was to create a dazzling visual atmosphere that enhances the consumer experience, turning the venue into a glowing moon-like landmark at night.

The Gear List

We deployed a versatile range of lighting fixtures to meet the unique needs of the bar’s various zones:

• High-Energy Beam Effects:

  • 380W Beam Moving Heads: The backbone of the light show, delivering sharp, piercing beams that slice through the darkness.

  • 380W BSW (Hybrid) Moving Heads: Offering versatile 3-in-1 effects (Beam, Spot, Wash) to add texture and variation to the dance floor.

• Atmosphere & Wash:

  • 7-Eye LED Wash Moving Heads: Offering dynamic color mixing and movement to create an engaging environment.

  • 19-Eye LED Par Lights: Used for rich background color saturation and ambient lighting.

• Crowd Interaction:

  • 4-Eye COB Blinders (Face Lights): High-CRI warm white lights used to illuminate the crowd and create memorable climax moments.

• Outdoor Landscape:

  • IP65 Waterproof Wall Washers: Lighting up the building’s exterior to attract attention from the street.

The Result

The lighting installation at Wild Moon Bar successfully created a high-energy atmosphere where lights flash in perfect sync with the music. The dynamic setup illuminated every joyful face on the dance floor, creating a harmonious and unforgettable experience for all.
